The Gongfu spirit: mastery in practice, stillness in mind

Water draws the fragrance, porcelain holds the steam, slow sips bring sweetness

01

Warm the teaware

Use a white porcelain gaiwan or Yixing clay pot, rinsing thoroughly with water above 95°C to enhance aroma and maintain heat stability.

02

High pour with boiling water

Pour 100°C boiling water from height for high-mountain oolong to awaken orchid aromas; use 90–92°C for White Peony to protect delicate young buds.

03

Quick decant and slow tasting

Decant within 5 to 10 seconds for the first three infusions to enjoy fresh aroma; extend to 15–30 seconds on later brews to savor lingering sweetness.

Tea Selection & Customization

Frequently asked questions on tea selection

Common questions regarding purchasing, tea storage, and bespoke corporate orders.

Q

Can I purchase sample tasting portions of your teas?

Yes. Our online channels and Hangzhou tea spaces provide small tasting portions for all teas. Corporate clients may also request sample kits through a customization consultant.

Q

How should high-mountain oolong and white tea be stored at home?

Keep high-mountain oolong sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and strong odors. White Peony and aged citrus white tea age well at room temperature in a dry, ventilated, and shaded space.

Q

What are the minimum order quantity and turnaround time for corporate gifts?

Standard custom gift sets start at 10 units. Following artwork and mock-up confirmation, production and inspection usually take 7 to 10 business days, with specific timelines confirmed during consultation.
